Kids Zone — Stories for Little Muslims

خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ

Small stories about ordinary days — a shared cake, a broken cup, a long wait for sunset — each one ending with a lesson a child can carry into tomorrow. Read together at bedtime, or let older children read on their own.

Islamic Stories & Waqiat

For centuries, Muslims have carried their faith in stories. A waqiah is a lived moment — a shopkeeper’s honesty, a widow’s generosity, a student’s patience — told not as a dry lesson, but as a scene you can step into. Ours are original stories written for Noor in that spirit, for older children and grown-ups alike, each closing with the lesson it carries and the source that inspired it.

Everyday Issues — Questions, Answered

Life brings small, heavy questions: a missed prayer, a short temper, a loan, a hard choice. Here we answer them in plain English, from the Qur’an and the authentic Sunnah as understood by mainstream scholarship — and we publish our readers’ own questions here too, one day after you send them.

A note on trust: these answers are general guidance for everyday situations, written carefully from well-known sources. Where scholars legitimately differ, we say so. For a ruling about your personal situation, please also ask a qualified scholar who knows you — and we will happily point you in the right direction.

We haven’t answered that one yet — be the first to ask it below.

How Asking & Discussing Works

Nothing appears on Noor unanswered or unchecked. Here is the journey of every question and comment:

1

You write

Ask a question below, or comment under any story or answer — about the lesson, or about an issue of your own it brought to mind.

2

We read & answer

We read everything in the evening, check it carefully, and prepare an answer from an authentic Islamic point of view, with its sources named.

3

Published the next day

Your question appears here together with its answer — just like the published discussions under the stories below — so every reader benefits.

Ask Your Question

Whatever is sitting in your mind — about prayer, family, work, money, or the heart — write it here. We read every question, answer it from authentic sources, and publish it on this page the next day: “this reader asked… and here is the answer.” Your name only appears if you choose to share it.

Please don’t include passwords, ID numbers, or anything you would not want read aloud. Health and legal emergencies need a professional, not a website.

Your question is ready to send

Copy your question and send it to the Noor team by email or message. We read every question in the evening, answer it from authentic sources, and publish it here the next day — your question and its answer, side by side.

About Noor

Noor began with a simple observation: parents everywhere are looking for Islamic stories their children will actually ask for again, and grown-ups are quietly searching the internet at midnight for answers to very ordinary questions — Did I pray correctly? Is this loan allowed? How do I stop shouting at my kids?

So we built one calm place for both. Every story here is written by us, for today’s children, in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Every answer is written slowly, checked against well-known authentic sources, and worded honestly where scholars differ. No copied fatwas, no noise — just light, a little at a time.
